Today I visited this place and had my first shepherd’s pie. It was amazing. The vegetables were cooked perfectly — not too soft, just right. The mashed potatoes were very soft, creamy, and perfect. The meat was excellent, and you could really taste the lamb. And now, the pièce de résistance: the gravy. It was so good that whoever made it is clearly a brilliant chef. I even ordered extra gravy because it was that good. The taste, the consistency, the shine — everything was spot on. My friend, keep up the good work. After the amazing shepherd’s pie, I had a sticky toffee pudding. It was a fantastic dessert — not only sweet, but also full of flavor, with lovely spices. Very tasty and absolutely spot on. A perfect dessert for a perfect dinner. This is definitely a place to visit if you want to eat something really good. Thank you so much for the amazing dinner.
We had our first Irish breakfast here and our last Irish meal here. The service was great. Continently checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Drinks were filled quickly. Service was excellent all around by the waitresses and the bartender. The atmosphere was exactly what I would expect, a little loud near the bar and the. table service allowed it to be more intimate. Both the morning breakfast and early dinner were delicious. For breakfast I had the French toast and my partner had the full Irish. This was the first full Irish of many but definitely one of the best. The French toast was sweet and tart with the fruit and nice. For the dinner we had on our last night in Dublin we got the burratta and fig appetizer, he had the ribeye and I had the gnocchi, for desert we got the sticky toffee pudding and the bread pudding. We were stuffed and all of it was fantastic. Well worth the money. Well worth the trip.
Great food and great service! The shepherd's pie was really amazing and I highly suggest you try it. The fish and chips were also really great as was the Butternut Squash Soup. The service was fast and very friendly and the beer was cold and very tasty. I highly recommend a visit to Searsons!
We spent a week in Dublin, and tried to visit at least two new restaurants each day - Searson's was so good that we came back twice! We loved the 1920s-style decor, and the live music was lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly, and very attentive to our group's allergies. The food was incredible, and we want to come bacl for the rest of the menu! Highly recommend the bread pudding for dessert. No notes, easily the best spot in town! Searson's will be our go-to the next time we visit Dublin.
Searsons is outstanding. Food? Spot on. Staff? Warm, genuine, and on the ball. Atmosphere? Absolutely brilliant. Dropped in for breakfast and everything was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic — the sausages deserve a special mention. Such a welcoming bar with a team who make you feel instantly at home. Strongly recommend.
