As a long time customer I am biased, the foggy has always provided a warm welcome and a perfect pint! I've decided to update my review as over the last few weeks I've visited with a number of different friends and colleagues for different reasons, and the general consensus was the same a warm welcome prompt and polite service. Unlike many of the foggys counterparts in the surrounding temple bar the foggy has a real local vibe about it with old school bar staff who know their stuff and have their eye on the ball, always happy to provide recommendations, play a song or put on the tv. Absolutely love the newly curated cocktail menu it's great to see something a little different and expertly executed by Stephen. And of course the toasty and pint is a lifesaver 😆keep doing what yous are doing gang!
My first time at the bar, and it just stands out for me: friendly atmosphere, great selection of beers, and the people at the bar were friendly; made friends and conversations with the locals. Also, there was brilliant live music on the night I was there, and it has that real Irish feel to it. 🇮🇪
Very nice pub in Dublin. Not too much tourists around. Nice atmosphere.
On Saturday the 20th of December while I was in Dublin on vacations, a peer recommended me this amazing club and everyone was very kind, the bouncer, the staff and the patrons, good drinks, but the best thing was that a cool band was playing British rock and punk songs from the 1970s and 1980s and it made the night so amazing. Met wonderful people, had an excellent time and for anyone coming to Dublin and who also likes the rock classics, must come to this amazing place. Foggy Dew is everything a good and fun pub needs, and Dublin, simply will remain in my heart.’
