Description

Day 1: Dublin, Belfast, and Londonderry Begin your journey with a morning departure from Dublin. Arrive in Belfast and visit the Titanic Museum, awarded as the World’s leading tourist attraction. Walk in the footsteps of the men who built RMS Titanic, one of the world’s most famous ships, in Belfast's historic shipyard. Next, visit the most haunted prison, Crumlin Road Gaol, the jail of horror. Considered a 5-star visitor attraction, this ex-prison witnessed the execution of 17 men over its 150-year history. Drive to Londonderry for your accommodation: 2 nights in a centrally located hotel. Day 2: Londonderry Begin your day with a city tour, including a visit to one of the most haunted places in Ireland: Bishop Higgins’ Grave. Discover the eerie history of St Columb’s Cathedral, where renovations in 1867 disturbed the grave of former bishop William Higgins, leading to strange occurrences. Take a walking tour of Londonderry, the only completely walled city in Ireland. Hear fascinating stories about brutal 17th-century sieges, starving citizens, and fearsome roaring cannons. Cross the Peace Bridge to Ebrington Square and stop at the Walled City Brewery, where you can raise a glass to this unique city. Visit the Guildhall, a red-brick, neo-Gothic wonder, on the edge of a picturesque square. Enter these red-brick walls, and if you’re really lucky, you might catch someone playing on the massive organ; let the music move through you as you admire the iconic building’s stunning stained-glass windows. In the evening, witness The Return of the Ancients-Halloween Parade in the city center. Then, join a Halloween party where all tour-goers participate in disguise. A bottle of wine will be the prize for the best costume. Day 3: Londonderry and Dublin Depart from Londonderry toward Dublin, enjoying the beautiful Irish scenery along the way. Upon arrival in Dublin, take a panoramic tour of the city, including Trinity College, the Georgian houses, the financial center, and Dublin Castle. In the evening, embark on a Dracula and Ghosts tour of Dublin. Discover the city’s dark secrets, including tales that shocked, repulsed, or horrified Dubliners back in the day. Be entertained by your storyteller, an American living in Dublin. Stop off at a creepy hidden city center graveyard and visit the haunted steps of St Audeons Church, where the ghosts of Darky Kelly and Lepers still roam the medieval quarter to this day. The tour includes a demonstration of medieval torture implements.
