Description

Enjoy complete freedom as you explore the city of Dublin and nearby landmarks on a multi-day trip. Benefit from inclusive accommodation, and car hire to travel between sites with ease. Day 1: Arrive at Dublin airport and collect your car, drive to Trim Castle for a tour, then enjoy lunch at The Snailbox Pub Kilmoon (at your own expense). After lunch you'll visit the Neolithic tomb of Newgrange, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Afterwards, head out to the famous Hill of Tara, the ancient seat of Irish Kings. Drive back to Dublin for check-in at your city center accommodation. In the evening, enjoy an Irish dance show along with a meal. Day 2: Drive out of the city towards Wicklow, passing through the beautiful countryside. Stop to admire the valley of Glendalough, and visit Powerscourt Waterfall. Pass over Wicklow Mountains towards Kilkenny, and enjoy lunch at Matt The Miller Pub and Restaurant (at your own expense). Explore Kilkenny Castle before heading back to Dublin. Spend your evening in the vibrant riverside neighborhood of Temple Bar. Day 3: After an early start, head out of the city along North Coast Road to Howth, to visit Howth Castle and Abbey. Drive the short distance to Malahide Castle, before driving back to Dublin to enjoy lunch at Murray's Bar and Restaurant on O'Connell Street (at your own expense). In the afternoon, explore the Guinness Storehouse, then meet your guide at Trinity College for a walking tour of the city. The tour includes tickets to see the famous Book of Kells. At the end of your experience, drive back to the airport in Dublin to drop off the car.
