We stayed at No.31 for 3 nights during our honeymoon and it completely exceeded our expectations. This charming boutique hotel is an absolute gem. Even though it’s just outside the city centre, it was incredibly convenient, within easy reach either by a pleasant walk or a short Uber ride. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive and went out of their way to make our stay special. They surprised us with a lovely room upgrade and beautiful thoughtful gifts in our room, such a romantic touch that made our honeymoon even more memorable. The home-cooked breakfast included in the room rate is first-class, fresh, delicious and one of the best we’ve had in Ireland. The rooms are elegant and comfortable and the whole atmosphere feels like a luxurious home away from home. We felt truly looked after the entire time. No.31 is perfect for a romantic getaway or special celebration. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back on our next trip to Dublin! Thank you to the wonderful team for making our honeymoon so magical.
This was an amazing hotel. Room was large and decorated in a cool art deco style. The breakfast is the best I've had at a hotel. Get the "Delia's Full Irish" at least once. The service was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again if i ever get back to Ireland.
Nicest hotel in Dublin! You must stay here! They gave us an upgraded room and we didn’t even ask for it. Calming dimmer lights in the room. Beautiful lounge area with a fireplace and a small honor bar. The courtyard had a lovely flaming fire pit. The weather as a bit chilly and windy. Delia’s breakfast is included in the cost of your room. Delicious tradition Irish options. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a delight to my pallet! Delia even offered to help us get a uber to the airport. Walking distance from several restaurants. MATT, THE THRASHER, was great for seafood. Treat yourself to Number 31!!!
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Numbers 31 in Dublin. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, stylish, and effortlessly welcoming. The room was truly one of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in—elegantly designed, spacious, and filled with thoughtful details that made it both luxurious and comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was simply outstanding. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was a standout—bright, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day. It’s rare to find a place where breakfast feels this special. Numbers 31 is a true gem in Dublin. Between the stunning rooms and the exceptional breakfast, it’s an experience I would highly recommend to anyone looking for something memorable and a little bit special.
Disappointed by this hotel given the high review scores. It's not actually a hotel, it's a B&B. It lacks the usual amenities of a hotel such as a staffed bar, restaurant, gym, pool, etc. The reception / waiting room is really the only space outside of the bedrooms and it's pretty small. While nicely decorated, it is not a 4 star hotel experience, rather a decent B&B. The room itself was quite small, there were suspect stains on the bed runner, the shower badly needed caulked as it was all black mould, the shower sprayed onto the floor so you needed to put a towel down to soak it up. The TV had about 5 channels, no Netflix or international channels. The room only had 1 roll of toilet paper and we had to ask for more (that's a first!). No air conditioning. No iron. The door lock was stiff and had trouble getting the key in. The bed was pretty comfy however. The breakfast was good, although not as amazing as reviewers had led us to believe. We had full Irish and it was pretty basic - cheap white toast rather than sourdough, small sausages, no mushrooms or beans... you'd get better at a decent cafe. Bowl of fruit and some cake was a nice addition but it did not justify the room price. Location was good, a 15 minute walk to the centre, and staff were friendly. Nowhere at reception to hang a suit - no coat hooks or hangers - we just had to leave our bags at the reception desk which just didn't give a quality vibe. Overall we were a bit disappointed given the glowing reviews and 4 star hotel claim.
