O'Neills was the perfect place for lunch! There was no wait for a table, and the service was fantastic! Quick and very friendly. The bar itself was so charming. But the absolute star of O'Neills was the delicious food. My partner got the bangers and mash and I had the Beef Guinness pie. Both of these dishes were incredibly delicious. The Beef Guinness pie was made with a lot of love. The pastry was flaky and buttery - so good. The beef was tender and juicy. O'Neills is so good, I could eat there again and again. Highly recommend!
Had a lovely stay for the first part of our honeymoon at O’Neills. The room was delightful and the staff were responsive, kind, and thoughtful. Self check in was a breeze and it was a huge perk to be able to drop our bags and take advantage of the free access to the Trinity Sports Center. Highly recommend!
Pub review - Nice small place. Food presented ok. Chips were good. Beer as it should. The only why it is 4 stars is the beef burger - it was a bit overcooked which made it dry. I did not find any sauce it the burger, but maybe it is how they make it. But overall the portion was large and solid
O'Neils was the perfect place to stay for us. Three women traveling together and the triple room was perfect for us. The staff was great- they didn't even make fun of the idiot American (me) who messed up our dates when booking. So unfortunately we only stayed one night instead of two. The room was quaint, clean, and comfortable. The food in the pub was great. If you're looking for a nice place to stay in a great location this is it. One thing to consider is there are stairs to get to the rooms and no elevator so if you have mobility issues be aware. For our group of three hikers it was not a problem but could be for some.
O Neills is fantastic value for money. So close to everything. In the center of Dublin near all the main attractions. Great pub with unbelievable history and character. The food and staff are exceptional. Rooms are lovely clean and so comfortable. Would highly recommend.
